Conference Dinner

Maretsch Castle … surrounded by vineyards in the heart of Bolzano.

South Tyrol is home to more than 800 castles, fortresses, and manor houses, making it one of the most castle-dense regions in Europe in relation to its size.

Nestled in the greenery of Bolzano, surrounded by vineyards and just a short walk from the historic old town, Maretsch Castle combines the charm of a typical Renaissance manor with the amenities of a modern event location.

First mentioned in the 13th century, the castle remained in the possession of the Maretsch family until the mid-15th century, when it passed to the Römer family. It was then expanded into a Renaissance residence and after changing hands several times, the castle was acquired in 1974 by the public authorities and converted into a conference center.

For parking you can use the public parking area in front of the castle (for payment).

Address: Via Claudia-de’-Medici, 12, 39100 Bolzano, Italy
